Educational Resources for Africa (ERA) brings much-needed resources and support to communities in Africa. ERA is currently working in Northern Uganda, where decades of war have produced what ERA founder Marcellina Otii calls a book famine. Lack of nutritious food and high levels of disease have also created a need for new approaches to tackling malnutrition and providing necessary health information.

Improving access to health information, educational resources and learning tools, ERA works with communities to build capacity and transform conditions for the most vulnerable children and women. ERA also works to build bridges between communities with cross-cultural exchange opportunities.
